The Monochrome Sum-Thing™ Explained
The Monochrome version of the Sum-Thing™ is used to help teach children to count, then to count backward. As well it can help children learn how to add, subtract, divide, multiply, count by two's as well as the concept of fractions.
		As well as the obvious application of counting forward and backwards. Here we show adding 4 plus 6 equals ten. And 6 plus 4 equals 10. Subtracting 4 from 10 equals 6, or 6 from 10 leaves 4

		Here we show that 10 divided by 2 = 5 or 2 X 5 = 10

		Here we can show 5 x 2 = 10 or 10 divided by 5 = 2 or 2 is one fifth of 10, or we can count 2,4,6,8,10

		Here we are showing that 10 divided by 3 = 3 and 1/3 which now introduces the concept of fractions.
